Hi, I'm Mike Wolfe. I am a 3D Generalist living in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
I graduated from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2013 with a BFA in Animation. In the 10 years since, I've worked for MCAD as a Teaching consultant and tutor, I worked at Trane Technologies for their HVAC graphics team for a few years as a graphic artist and Project Manager, I went to Jostens as a consultant for a short while, and I've been at The Toro Company the past several years as a Multimedia Designer working to build up a brand new art team here in Bloomington, Minnesota.
My skills revolve a lot around 3D modeling, lighting and rendering, graphic design, and project management. While at Trane, I led a team of 8 multinational designers on 50-100 projects per month with a 100% on time delivery rate. Since then, I have gone back to do bit more of the art creation myself. I do like to do both, versus one or the other. While at Toro, I've created over 500 instructional graphics, animations, and AR experiences for Toro products to be used on their websites, apps, and manuals.
My goals at the moment are to find an employer than I can see myself working a long time with. It has been using in making me more well rounding traveling about the Twin Cities, but I would like to find somewhere I can see myself staying 10+ years at.
